Welcome to Mike’s Driving School.

The driving school was established in 1999 by owner Mike Gilfillan and is situated at number 4A Knight Street in Grahamstown, Eastern Cape, South Africa. Mike’s is a registered driving school, offering professional and comprehensive code 8 and code 10 K53 driving lessons.

Mike’s Driving School aims at creating informed, alert and confident drivers by providing professional and reasonably priced driving lessons. Remember that crash courses do not create good drivers! It can be very frustrating trying to find the correct driving school. Driving lessons are expensive and if you end up with the wrong driving instructor it can be a waste of both time and money.

Learner drivers can now be taught in Mike’s very own test yard. The yard is a reproduction of the traffic department's yard, allowing the student to be completely familiar with the actual test. This is one small detail we offer which contributes to our 80 percent pass rate.

Mike's Driving School is a Carbon Credit Company. The vehicles' emissions need to be counteracted to reduce the school's carbon footprint. Mike's purchased one hundred hectares of natural bush in the area which allows the business to not only reduce its carbon footprint but cancels out the vehicles' emissions in a drive for cleaner air.
